But the reality is...
I built my career the way most high-achieving women do: by being exceptionally capable and proving myself at every level.
And it worked. Managing Director. The compensation. The seat at the table.
For nearly 30 years I led inside some of the most complex financial institutions in the world, in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where visibility, influence, and the right decision under pressure were the whole game.
Over time I noticed something that fascinated me. The women who struggled weren't the least capable. They were often the most. Brilliant leaders operating inside systems that rewarded influence, visibility, and strategic leadership, still relying on the habits that had carried them earlier: over-functioning, proving, carrying too much, waiting until they were certain. It wasn't a capability problem. It was an operating model problem.
I saw it in the women around me. And I saw it in myself.
So I made a choice: keep climbing inside a system I understood better than almost anyone, or use what I'd learned to help women rise through it differently. I chose the second.
That's what led me to this work — helping women rewrite the beliefs, patterns, and rules they've inherited about success, so they can keep rising without shrinking their ambition or sacrificing themselves to get there.
